BaptistInfo.com is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Doyle O. Welborn, doing business as Welborn Computer Services. All funds support the continued development of the BaptistInfo Internet Ministry, which serves churches, pastors, missionaries, etc, and reaches out to unbelievers in many ways, 24-7-365.
BaptistInfo began as the Directory of Independent Baptist Churches in a
printed book form before the days of the internet. Where did we get these addresses? The Directory was
compiled from the address books of missionaries, for the purpose of
assisting other missionaries during their deputation. When the internet
spread like wildfire in the 80's, BaptistInfo.com began updating the
Directory and spreading it via the Internet.
Updates are daily submitted by those who visit the website.
Since our primary purpose is to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, beginning in 2001 audio sermons from my home church were added. As more people began to find BaptistInfo, others began to upload sermons from their churches as well. There are currently over a thousand sermons online, (plus the 650 Spanish broadcasts) with more sermons being added weekly. BaptistInfo also has a Directory of Independent Baptist Missionaries with many missionaries presenting their fields of labor using audio/video slide shows. In the future, we plan to expand with the capabilities of the internet, adding video of sermons, video from mission fields, and more.

Our purpose:
1. to assist churches in spreading abroad the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through the internet.
2. to serve all Independent Baptist Churches providing a free web page promoting their church, web services such as text and audio sermons, promotions for local church events, etc.
3. to serve Independent Baptist Missionaries with a free web page promoting their field of labor, their contact info, and a comprehensive Directory of Independent Baptist Churches to assist them in their deputation efforts.
