Instructions
Please read instructions then use the form at the bottom.

Before you add your church, PLEASE view the BaptistInfo Directory to make sure your church is not already listed. After you submit the form (found at the bottom of this page), Your church will be added to the directory as soon as possible if your church meets the following requirements. If you do not follow the following rules, your entry may be lost in cyberspace (not a good thing). Updates usually occur daily.
-
To be listed, your church must be "baptist" in both name and doctrine.
-
Your church also must be "independent." Is your church Independent? If an independent Baptist missionary came to your church to present his work, would he be considered for support? If so, please join this list. If he is required to be affiliated with a mission board, then your church is NOT independent. Independent means "unaffiliated." An independent Baptist church is NOT associated with any man-made association, convention or organized fellowship such as The Southern Baptist Convention, The American Baptist Convention, etc. For more info, please read: The Case for Independent Baptist Churches by M.L. Moser, Jr. and A Brief Survey Of Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches by Cooper P. Abrams, III.

While being listed here is FREE, your support for this ministry would be greatly appreciated. Read More...

YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS IS REQUIRED. (It will be deleted once your update is completed.) The person submitting the form must include their email address just in case something on the form needs to be verified. Your personal email address will not be subscribed to any mailing list, and it will be deleted after the updates have been completed (usually at the end of each day). However, the church's email address is NOT required. Since most missionaries, pastors, and evangelists use email to save money on phone calls. By submitting the church email address, you will be automatically subscribed to the BaptistInfo Newsletter. To opt out of the Newletter mailing list, do not submit the church email address. However, if you do not include your personal email address, you will not be able to submit the form. And if we have any questions regarding your church, we won't be able to contact you. If the church does not have an official email address, you may leave your personal email in both of the spaces provided for the church email and your personal email address.
-
Links to your church's website will link directly from the church name. If you want a link to your church's website, please return the favor and add a link to http://www.baptistinfo.com from your church's website.
-
PLEASE LIST ONLY ONE ADDRESS. List the street address on the first line and it will be linked to a map. Only line 1 will be linked to a map. Please list the City/Zip you want to use for the map. List the mailing address (P.O. Box) on line 2 only if it has the same City/Zip. If the mailing address is in a different City/Zip, then place the mailing address in the Comments field.
-
Do NOT use abbreviations for the city. (e.g., "Ft. Worth" should be spelled out "Fort Worth"). Churches are listed alphabetically by city, then church name. Since the computer automatically sorts them, they must all use the same format to sort properly.
-
If you wish to completely remove a church's info, just fill out the form below and select Please...Delete from the pull-down box near the bottom of the form.
CHURCH PHOTO
If you want to include a photo of your church, here's how:
-
Use a digital camera to take a photo of your church. (Or have your film developed as a Photo-CD.)
-
Resize the image to 500x375 or LESS.
-
Save the image in standard JPG format.
-
Email the photo to doylewelborn@gt.rr.com in an email attachment. Along with the attachment, be sure to include the church's name and zip code in the message.
-
If the photo is on your website, just tell us the exact URL (website address) of the photo and we will download it.
ADD FREE SERMONS
If you want to include an audio or text message, testimony, or sermon in your church's listing, you have two options:
Record your sermons in MP3 format (using mono, 56 kbps). Then go to the Sermon Upload page to add your files. After your sermons are reviewed, they will be converted to RealAudio and added to the BaptistInfo Sermon Archive.
Prophet's Chamber Occupancy
Does your church have a Prophet's Chamber available for use by Missionaries, Pastors, or other Preachers? Please list it in the same place as Emergency Shelters. Just put the number of people the Prophet's Chamber will sleep. Anything over 12 persons will be listed as an Emergency Shelter.
Emergency Shelter Occupancy
During natural disasters, can your church be used as an Emergency Shelter? After watching four hurricanes slam the southeast coast and terrible a sunami in Asia, I'm asking all Independent Baptist Churches if they would be willing to open their doors during the course of future natural disaster - to reach out to the world in their time of need and provide a safe place to eat, sleep, and recuperate. I've compiled an Emergency Shelter List and would like to add your church to the List. Those who might need to evacuate during an emergency can consult this list in order to contact your church. Also, the list can be used by news agencies or radio networks such as American Family Radio to broadcast important information during emergencies, even when normal internet operations fail. To be included on the list, you should be ready, willing and able to provide food, shelter, and sleeping areas. (NOTE: if sleeping on pews, your capacity would be your seating capacity divided by 4. Another way to calculate the capacity is to figure the square feet of the entire building (width x length) and then divide by 40.) This is only an estimate. May I add your church to the Emergency Shelter List? If the answer is yes, please add approximately how many people can occupy your church during natural disaster emergencies. If you'd rather not be listed as an emergency shelter, just leave that line blank.
