The Creech Family

May 6, 2004

Dear Brethren,

Where have the last two months gone? I am reminded of how quickly time passes. Soon the Lord will return and our opportunities will be gone to make Him known to those who still haven't heard. If we are ever going to do anything for the Lord's cause, it must be now.

Since our last report, I have been in three conferences; our church's Discipleship Conference, March 16?18, the Fishers of Men conference in Gillespie, Illinois, the following week, and the Mission's Conference of the Central Baptist Church of Bowie, Texas.

Valerie and I also made a trip to North Dakota to get a diagnosis of her health condition and to work on a treatment plan. It was time well spent. I found out that I too have some potential problems that need to be worked on.

Lord willing, we will be shipping the container to Colombia in the first days of June. The volunteers at our home church have done a great job of finishing up the last studies to be printed. We are also gathering in materials from other printing ministries. As soon as the container is gone, we want to devote some time to upgrading our print shop facilities, putting in a bathroom, and adding a storage shed.

PRAYER NEEDED

Please pray for the following areas:

Radio ministry in Panama. We hope to be able to expand our broadcasting this month to include the whole country. The elections will be held in May, and afterwards there should be open times at more economical prices on some of the larger radio stations. Please ask the Lord to open that door for the program and to supply the necessary funds.

The establishment of a base of operations in Bocas del Toro province. Bro. Jose Gonzalez has found a house for sale in the town of Chiriqui Grande that would be ideal to use as a center for storing and distributing our printed materials, and a place for people to come and ask questions, etc. The bases in Gatdn and Santiago have been greatly used of the Lord. We long to expand to the province of Bocas. The house has its own boat dock, which is a big advantage for the people of the area. It is a fixer?upper, but the price is right, (*.*). We have the men who can do the fixing.

Bro. William Aya in Bogota, Colombia. Since his arrival in early March, he has gotten his family settled in, rented an office to serve as a headquarters for the work there, and made many contacts. Over a hundred people have asked for the correspondence courses, and he is personally working with 4 men in personal discipleship. He is still receiving response cards from the several hundred tracts that he and Bro. Bruce Moore passed out in the first part of April. He is feeling the weight of the responsibility and has requested special prayer for those with whom he is working. Two men to pray for are Daniel Ariza and Ruben Fernandez.

FROM VALERIE

It never ceases to amaze me that I wish too much of my life away. When our children were little and in a baby seat, I wished that they could sit up, then I wished they could walk, then talk, then bathe themselves, etc., etc. Now, I wish they were little again!! I see my daughter wishing for each new stage of the twins development, and it is a thrill when they accomplish each new thing I must admit. As missionaries, I find myself wishing when I am in Panama that I could see my children or go to Wal?Mart or some other silly thing, and when I am in the USA, I long for the people in Panama that we love so dearly or the wonderful tropical weather!! Philippians 4:11 says, Not that 1 speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state 1 am, therewith to be content. That is my constant desire, and your prayers for us are MUCH appreciated. Thank you and God bless you.

Yours in Christ,
Robert Creech
