The Name Men Hate

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

They use his name as a curse word, when it should be praised!

Why do men hate the name of Jesus?

It's a name with Power....Power to save. Read (Matthew 1:21)

This name transforms some, and troubles others.

(Acts 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

* Could it be they hate his cross.

* They hate what it stands for!

Today we should not worship the cross, but who hung on that cross.

* They hate what it shows us! SIN!

Thank the lord, he will never hang there again.

We gave him thorns, the Father gave him a throne.

(1 Corinthians 1:18) describes what they think of the cross.

They do not mind a generic god "little g" They do hate the name of JESUS!

* Could it be they hate his crown.

He is Lord!

* He sits with Honor.

* He sits on High.

* He sits with the heavenly Host.

* We are his Body.

* We are covered by his Blood.

(John 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

This name gives me peace, and comfort.... The name of JESUS is above every name. read (Isaiah 6)

* Could it be they hate his church.

(1 John 3:13) Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

What is the reason they hate his church?

* We are his Bride.
